'Safe Driver Initiative®' (SDI) to Raise Tractor Trailer Safety Awareness

How it works
All HMHTTC emergency response managers -- who are highly trained in safety protocol and log more than two million miles annually in their emergency response vehicles -- will notify HMHTTC’s safety department of any observed unsafe driving activities by tractor trailer drivers. 

Once notified, HMHTTC will make a courtesy call to the trucking company’s safety department, making them aware of the incident, including the vehicle unit number, location and time of day.
